We have found true freedom and real life in Jesus. We are passionate about helping others find the same by surrending to the one and only Savior of the world. We started out using the tool of radio in Alaska to accomplish this goal. We are now moving to Ukraine for a more hands on approach.

The need in Ukriane cannot be overstated! Seventy years of communism has emaciated the church. Less then three percent of Ukraine's 48 million people are believed to be Evangelical Christians. There are currently fewer then 4,000 churches throughout the country and over one-third of those congregations have 20 members or less. The evangelical church in Ukraine is asking for help and God has called us to respond.

When we arrive in Ukriane we will be in Keiv learning the Ukrainian language and culture. When language school is over we will join a SEND church planting team in Lutsk, Ukraine. Daryl will be assigned to a local, evangelical, Ukrainian church and will assist them in their church planting outreach. This will take the form of Bible teaching in Sunday School classes, Bible studies, and one on one discipleship. He will also teach English as a way to meet new people and share the good news about Jesus. Laura will support Daryl as his wife, care for and educate their children, and do whatever outreach God leads her to do. She has an incredible gift of hospitality, so you can bet that will be put to good use.
